Pooja has led & strategized large enterprise solutions in Cybersecurity - Identity & Access Management (IAM). She has close to 20 years of experience in Identity & Cybersecurity, she now leads IAM products and solutions at NXP. Pooja is a noted speaker in multiple technology and Cybersecurity forums. She is currently associated with CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) Bangalore Chapter. Pooja also contributed as a writer in developing content for IAM module in GCISO Leadership Foundation certification. Pooja has been awarded as one of Top 20 Indian Women Influencers in Security for 2020 by SecurityToday, InfosecGirls and WISECRA. She was recently featured in “The Rise of the Cyber Women: Volume Two” book. Her cybersecurity experience is backed by certifications like CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional). She has completed Design Thinking program from Emeritus in collaboration with MIT, Columbia, Tuck and MTech from BITS, Pilani. Additionally, she is pursuing PhD from PES, Bangalore.
Cyber Security careers are not just about hacking, and I would like to introduce Identity and Access Management (IAM) as a topic to all students. I know that this topic is not included in the engineering colleges curriculum or course work. I will share how IAM is key part of Cyber security and if not managed well, what may happen. I will keep it short and sweet - 20 minutes and 10min for questions.
