ShaktiCon is a completely free global conference focused on inspiring, training, and upskilling women in cybersecurity. ShaktiCon includes keynote sessions, training, contests, and workshops. Our pre-conference contest attracted over 1500 participants from 5 continents in December 2020.
Born out of an understanding that cultural circumstances do not always encourage women to flourish in male dominated fields, ShaktiCon is committed to creating a suitable environment to showcase the range of womens talents in cybersecurity.
By doing this we hope to train a new generation of women to be more actively engaged in the field and enter the cybersecurity workforce. ShaktiCon is all about women role models encouraging young & aspiring women hackers to attain their goals without any fear.

Team Shakti is a trailblazer of a women-only cybersecurity team mentored by Amrita Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Amritapuri Campus that is committed to bridging the gender divide. Although relatively new to the scene, the team is made up of luminous minds, paving the way for a brighter future.
The Technology Enabling Center @ Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was established in September 2019 with the support of Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India. Its mandate is to create an Ecosystem for Technology Development in the state and country by networking with researchers, institutes, national laboratories and the industry.
